In addition to our Salukis, Italians Greyhounds, Papillons, Dachshunds ,  Chinese Crested and SRDS, Salatino has a team of ten Rottweilers who care for the safety of the property, 24 hrs a day. 
These dogs are castrated because we do not breed Rottweilers. Some have some that we bought and others that we adopted or rescued because their owners could no longer keep them. 

Besides the security work they do, there is another one that we are very proud. 
Salatino in partnership with the Blood Bank of the Veterinary Hospital of the University of São Paulo (USP) on an average, every three months or so they donate blood and save lives as well! 
All dogs over 27 kg can donate and the minimum interval in between donations is 21 days. 
All donors receive a free battery of health tests every time they go for a donation. 
Any animal over 27 kg from 1 to 7 years of age can be a donor! 
Help those in need. 
Some of our Salukis (the ones that weight enough) also donate blood.
